Breton Print - A full-service print shop
In this article, we would like to share our story with Breton Print. It is a full-service print shop that provides printing services for posters, flyers, business cards, booklets, brochures, invitations, banners, and more. At Breton Print, they make sure every item is printed and finished with care. If they are concerned about an original piece or digital file that consumers have given them to work with, they’ll let you know before running a job. How did we start working together?
One day, Mr. Andrew Brooks emailed our consultant - Ms. Janet Tran to ask about our Printshop Solution. He wanted to build a new website for his printing business. It seemed to be that the Premium Package of Printshop Solution fitted his idea about the new website quite well.
After a period of time investigating this product, he decided to purchase the Premium Package. For this product, we provide 24 different demo versions and free installation. After Mr. Andrew Brooks purchased this product, he chose the version he liked the most and our service team helped to install it on his domain and hosting. Then, he could add the content, products, and artwork by himself.
Problems occurred during the configuration process
During a period of time working with Printshop Solution, Mr. Brooks shared with our consultant - Ms. Janet Tran that he found some troubles in setting the online design feature for some products on his website and he also wanted to redesign the layout of the product page to fit his brand identity. He sent us a detailed excel file for a product list that needed to be configured and a .PDF file for the product page design.
He also wanted to show the price in a price table instead.
Those tasks were not complicated but they took a lot of time to finish. Our developer team already spent around 3 weeks for development and 1 more week for adjustments. But the result came out very good.

Besides the above tasks, we also made some customization on the editor page.
Mr. Brooks wanted us to exclude bleed from ruler measurement. On the ruler, it will show the product dimension without bleeding. This way it might not affect the real product when it comes out.
According to this change, we also have to change the content of the guidelines as following:
We also developed the feature to 90 degrees rotate the product design on the editor page. This feature is an optional choice. Admin could activate or deactivate this feature for each product. Users could click on this rotate button on the editor page to change product design from landscape to portrait and vice versa. When users rotate the product background, the designs on it also rotate. Users also could delete those designs and redesign on portrait and landscape background as they want. Users could rotate each side of the product. For example, if the product contains 2 sides, users could rotate one by one, not both sides at the same time.

For now, Mr. Brooks has not completed the new website yet. It is still in development. But we hope that the website will be loved by his audience and help him to grow the business.
