Differences between the 3 platforms:

Number of websites for each platform

• Virtuemart: There are over 42000 websites use Virtuemart in the world.
• Magento: There are over 142000 websites. Special, they offer both free and paid options.
• Woocommerce: WooCommerce is leading in Top Sites and in most countries. There are over 807000 e-commerce websites use Woocommerce in the world. It has better usage coverage in almost websites categories.

Ease of use

• Virtuemart, as a plugin, is easy to use. However, you must understand Joomla you’ll understand and use this extension of it. You need to install Joomla! first (as the "Framework"), and then install & configure VirtueMart.
• Magento is a powerful eCommerce specific platform. It comes with an advanced setup process that can be complicated for new users. After the setup, you will have to spend some time learning Installing extensions or customizing themes and you may need to seek help to set them up. Overall, Magento is a powerful platform and comes packed with a ton of features, but it is not easy for use.
• WooCommerce is a little easier to use compared to Magento. you can install with just a few clicks and a setup wizard. WooCommerce themes and plugins are easy to install. you only have to spend a few minutes learning.

Extensions and Integrations, theme and template

• VirtueMart, there are 218 VirtueMart Extensions and templates on extensions.virtuemart.net. Besides, third-party providers have more than that. They ready to provide free and paid versions for users.
• Magento, Magento Marketplace had 5044 extensions out of which 1603 were available for free (data on 29 June 2019). It has a big community of developers, agencies, and freelancers. Moreover, plenty of third-party is developing more themes and solutions than for this Platform.
• Woocommerce, since WooCommerce runs on top of WordPress this gives you access to all WordPress plugins and themes. You can connect your online store to any third-party service.

Differences between the 3 Marketplace Solution.

• Amazon Joomla Virtuemart Template: This is a Template. The price is $42.79. It only is integrated with some functions. Before that, you had to install VirtueMart.
• Magento and Marketplace theme for Magento 2 packages: This package is the best choice to build a website like Amazon, Lazada or eBay with the unique interface on the Magento Platform. This theme integrated so many highlight features and completed workflow modules for the Magento marketplace.
• WordPress WooCommerce Marketplace Theme: This is a Woocommerce theme on WordPress Platform. There are many features integrated into one package. Special, Dokan Multi-Vendor Feature enables you to build a multivendor marketplace easier than ever.
