I am facing the same issue.
I purchased the VirtueMart BookStore template and it will not work on Joomla/Virtuemart 3.. and I tried rolling back to a 2.5 for Joomla/VirtueMart and it still doesn't work.
It breaks my site and all i get is a blank site, even when I don't have it active as the default template.
I have deleted every file contained in the package, but it seems it writes something off in my sql database, as that is the last place that has some instance of the template.
I have to keep deleting all server files, and db, then reinstall just to get a basic customer facing page to show up again.
I submitted a ticket yesterday.. over 24hrs ago. and still no response.
What happened to the installation support from technical support?
I can't even get a response...
