The challenge
AFIMAGEN operates as a vibrant online print shop located in Maspalomas, Gran Canaria, providing vital services such as personalized products, large-format printing, graphic design, and laser cutting. Despite their diverse offerings, the ordering experience was hindered by complicated navigation, making it challenging for customers to engage effectively with their services, which included business cards, flyers, banners, and various personalized gifts.
The primary objective was to streamline the customer journey, making it easier for clients to find the services they sought, and to facilitate a straightforward ordering process. AFIMAGEN aimed to reduce customer friction while enhancing the visibility of their extensive service offerings.
What we built
CMSMART engaged with AFIMAGEN to revamp their online platform comprehensively. This involved restructuring the service catalog to enhance service discoverability, creating a more intuitive ordering process that enabled customers to easily upload designs and select product specifications. The solution included significant enhancements to product configuration and artwork submission processes, ensuring a smoother customer interaction.
The project unfolded in several key phases starting from an in-depth analysis of existing workflows, followed by the redesign of the customer interface. This prototyping stage allowed for continual feedback, culminating in seamless integration and refinement of the ordering system.
The refined ordering system now supports customers from the initial request phase through to proof approval, production, and final fulfillment. Customers can now enjoy a streamlined process that echoes the speed and efficiency AFIMAGEN strives to deliver in their services.
