Had the same problem. Just deactivate the plugin and delete all the plugin data (also the plugin data in the database).
Download the newest plugin version from CmsSmart. Install and activate the zip file. Then you should be able to enter the serial number for the premium key.
The plugin that is available through Wordpress plugins is an outdated version.
