The challenge
Initially, the client faced challenges with their online ordering system, including a convoluted product catalog and a cumbersome design upload process. Customers experienced difficulties navigating the site and locating the services they needed, which affected their overall purchasing experience.
The primary goal was to enhance the client's online ordering system, improve service discoverability, and simplify the customer's journey from exploration to purchase. This involved creating a more intuitive platform that accommodates users in selecting and personalizing their products.
What we built
The client specializes in offering a wide variety of print products, allowing customers to create customized designs on items such as business cards, posters, and signage. They cater to both individual consumers and businesses seeking personalized print solutions.
To address these challenges, Cmsmart implemented a structured product catalog, enhancing the clarity and accessibility of services. The ordering process was streamlined to reduce friction for customers when selecting options and submitting designs. As part of the transformation, the platform now supports easier design uploads and incorporates an online design option, making it more accommodating to customer needs.
The implementation was carried out in phases: initially, a thorough analysis of the existing system was conducted to identify pain points; this was followed by designing a more user-friendly interface and developing a robust backend to support the new frontend structure.
