Applies to Cmsmart Streetwear Store 2.0.0 on Cmsmart Stores 2.0.0, with Cmsmart Product Designer (formerly NBDesigner) 2.18.4 · Updated October 2026. Store Setup v2 has installed this theme with sample data since 15 October 2026, and every store opens live, with no WooCommerce "coming soon" page.

In short

  • A ready-made WooCommerce storefront for made-to-order tees, hoodies, caps and bags, with the designer, printing options and a sample catalogue already wired together.
  • Store Setup v2 installs the theme, the plugin and the content in one pass; you spend the first hour on branding, products and the settings that make an order sellable.
  • You leave with a store that takes a real test order end to end, and a checklist of what to flip before you go live.

A streetwear print on demand WooCommerce store needs a designer, printing options and products wired together, not just a theme. The Cmsmart Streetwear Store (2.0.0) ships with all three plus Cmsmart Product Designer 2.18.4, so a buyer can pick a tee, add their own graphic and check out within an hour of install, while you still set branding, payments and shipping first.

What does running a streetwear print on demand WooCommerce store by hand actually cost you?

Every custom order a streetwear brand quotes by email or DM costs staff time and risks a lost sale. Cmsmart's Streetwear Store removes the back-and-forth by putting colour, size, print location and price on the product page itself, so the buyer self-serves.

Most streetwear labels start on a generic theme plus disconnected plugins: a swatch plugin for colour, a file-upload field, a spreadsheet for quotes. Each gap has a cost:

  • Quoting by hand. A buyer DMs a mockup request, you reply with a price, they vanish — every quote you type instead of the page showing it is time lost.
  • Mismatched art. Without print-location and DPI rules on the page, you get a low-resolution PNG and a round of "can you send it bigger?" emails.
  • Reprints. A colour or placement mix-up that reaches production costs the blank garment, the print, and shipping both ways.
  • Abandoned carts. Fashion shoppers abandon checkout more than almost any category — Baymard Institute's pooled benchmark across 50 studies puts the average online cart abandonment rate at 70.22%, and a clunky quoting or design step pushes a made-to-order store above that line (Baymard Institute, updated Sep 2025).

See the cost as: (quotes/week) × (minutes/quote) × (hourly rate), plus (reprints/month) × (cost per reprint). Put in your own numbers.

What would your streetwear store look like running on Cmsmart?

On the Cmsmart Streetwear Store, a shopper picks a tee, chooses colour and print location, drops in their own graphic or a template, and sees price and artwork together before they pay — no email thread, no manual quote, and no wait for a reply from your team.

Example scenario. A streetwear label's newest drop goes live at midnight. A shopper on their phone opens the new graphic tee, picks a colour and size, taps "Start Design", and drags in their own crest. The price updates with their choices, the cart line shows exactly what they picked, and by the time the label's team checks their phone in the morning, the order and its print-ready file are waiting, with nothing to re-key.

Streetwear print on demand WooCommerce store homepage hero with a made-to-order tee and Shop now / Start design buttons
The Streetwear Store home page: a made-to-order hero, "Shop now" and "Start design" calls to action, and a product grid below the fold.

Cmsmart insight: the drops that convert best keep the designer one click from the product photo — a "Start Design" button next to "Add to cart", not buried in a menu. The Streetwear Store ships with that pattern already in place.

How does Cmsmart put the streetwear store together?

Cmsmart's Store Setup v2 installs the Streetwear Store, its parent theme, Cmsmart Stores Blocks and Cmsmart Product Designer together with a sample catalogue in one pass, so you open a working store on launch day instead of assembling an empty WordPress install piece by piece.

Install comes first, and takes about 10 minutes: pick the Streetwear Store in your Cmsmart dashboard, download the installer file (or the theme files for a manual install), and run it on an empty folder on your host. We cover that flow screenshot by screenshot in Installing a Cmsmart store: the parent/child theme setup — this guide picks up with the store already live.

Once it is installed, four pieces do the work:

  • Cmsmart Streetwear Store 2.0.0 — the child theme: header, footer, home sections and the "Create your own" page, on the Cmsmart Stores 2.0.0 parent theme.
  • Cmsmart Stores Blocks 2.1.3 — the block library the parent theme depends on, bundled so your home page is wired correctly on any host.
  • Cmsmart Product Designer 2.18.4 (formerly NBDesigner) — the "Setting Cmsmart" tab, the online designer, and the printing-option engine behind price and print location. It also generates a print-ready PDF that matches the order each time a design is processed.
  • WooCommerce — products, cart, checkout, payments and shipping zones, through its own settings screens.

Everything above ships today. A gang-sheet layout for bulk runs, or a sync to a production queue, does not — covered further down.

What's the business value of launching on a built store versus a bare WooCommerce theme?

A pre-wired designer and printing-option engine mean a streetwear store can open for orders the same day it is installed, instead of after weeks spent on plugin selection, configuration and testing on a generic theme — time you would rather spend on products and marketing.

BenefitHow it shows up in your businessKPI to track
Self-service designBuyers configure colour, size and print location without a quote requestQuote requests per 100 sessions
Fewer reprintsPrint location, DPI and print method are captured with the order, not guessed from an emailReprint rate, cost per reprint
Faster launchTheme, designer and sample catalogue arrive installed, not assembled plugin by pluginDays from install to first live order
Mobile checkoutProduct page, designer and cart render on a phone out of the boxMobile conversion rate vs. desktop

ROI worksheet: handling Q custom-order quotes a week by hand, at M minutes each and hourly cost H, costs roughly Q × M × H of staff time a week that self-service quoting frees up. At reprint rate R and cost C each, tighter print-location and DPI capture removes close to R × C a month. Use your own numbers.

The category is not a niche bet: the global print-on-demand market was valued at USD 10.8 billion in 2025, and apparel is its largest segment at 39.5% of that revenue (Grand View Research, 2025).

How do you set up the Cmsmart Streetwear Store in your first hour?

With the theme and plugin already installed by Store Setup v2, the first hour goes into branding, checking the sample products and the designer tab on each, and turning on the WooCommerce settings a real order needs — store address, payments and shipping zones.

  1. Confirm the theme is active. In Appearance > Themes, Cmsmart Streetwear Store 2.0.0 should show as active, with the Cmsmart Stores 2.0.0 parent theme installed alongside it.
  2. Set your logo and header links. Open the Header template part in the Site Editor (Appearance > Editor > Patterns > Template parts > Header) and replace the Site Logo block with your own mark; the main menu block reads from your WordPress menus.
  3. Update the footer the same way. The footer template part carries your working hours, address, phone, email and social links — edit each block in the Site Editor.
  4. Check the pages the import created. Pages > All Pages lists the pages Store Setup v2 imports: Home, Shop, Cart, Checkout, My account, About us, Contact, FAQ, Size guide and more, already linked from the menu.
  5. Review the sample products. Products > All Products shows the sample catalogue — ten products across T-Shirts, Hoodies and Accessories, each with a SKU, price and a "Design" column confirming the designer is enabled. Replace them when ready.
  6. Open the Cmsmart Product Designer tab on one product. Edit a sample tee and open the Setting Cmsmart box. It lists the design areas on the sample tee (Front, Back, Left, Right) along with Enable Design and Enable Upload Design switches, so a buyer can design online or upload a file.
  7. Set printing options. On the same product, the "NBD options" box has an "Edit option" button for the printing-option set used on that item — this is where garment, quantity breaks and finishing choices live, and what drives price.
  8. Set your store address and currency. In WooCommerce > Settings > General, enter your real store address (it drives tax and shipping rates) and confirm currency and selling/shipping locations.
  9. Turn on a payment method. WooCommerce > Settings > Payments lists Woo Payments, PayPal Payments and offline methods; connect the one you use before you go live (WooPayments documentation).
  10. Set your shipping zones. WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping ships with an "Everywhere" zone and a "Rest of the world" zone; edit methods and rates to match how you ship. A zone is simply the geographic area a rate applies to, matched to a shopper's address (WooCommerce documentation).
  11. Place one test order. On the storefront, open a sample product, press "Start Design", make a change and press "Process". Confirm the cart line shows colour, size, print location and print method, then walk checkout with a test payment method.
  12. Check the mobile view. Load the product at 390 px: the design button should sit above "Add to cart", and the toolbar should stay usable.

The same product at 390 px: "Start Design" sits directly above "Add to cart", which matters when most drops sell on a phone.

Specific to a streetwear line: colour and print-location fields sit on the product page itself, so a drop can go live without you touching every order; the cart line records print method alongside colour and size for production; and a limited "drop" variant with its own price is just another product.

Go-live checklist

  • Logo, header and footer replaced with your own branding
  • Sample products replaced or confirmed, with real prices and images
  • Printing options and design areas checked on every designable product
  • A real payment method connected and tested
  • Shipping zones and rates matched to how you actually ship
  • One full test order placed and checked on both desktop and mobile

What can Cmsmart build on top of the Streetwear Store?

Cmsmart builds the custom development a growing streetwear label needs beyond the store's core setup: gang-sheet layouts for bulk print runs, production and fulfilment integrations, drop and pre-order mechanics, and loyalty or reorder tools built for your exact workflow, not a generic add-on.

The store covers a single-item made-to-order flow well. As a label grows, these are the extensions we build most often on top of it:

  • Gang-sheet and bulk print layouts. For a DTF or screen-printing run, a gang-sheet builder so bulk orders assemble automatically.
  • Production and fulfilment sync. Pushing approved designs and print-ready files to a production queue, embroidery shop or 3PL, so nobody re-keys an order.
  • Drop and pre-order mechanics. Limited colourways, waitlists and scheduled drop launches, on top of WooCommerce's own product and inventory data.
  • Loyalty and reorder tools. For repeat buyers, a tiered rewards or "reorder your last design" flow, as a custom module.

Our approach: discovery, a solution design you sign off, build sprints, QA, then launch and support — see Cmsmart ecommerce projects.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use my own products instead of the sample catalogue?

Yes. The ten sample products are there to click through and test on day one; edit or delete them from Products > All Products and add your own range whenever you're ready. The "Setting Cmsmart" and "NBD options" boxes work the same way on any product.

Which plan activates the Streetwear Store?

The Streetwear Store is part of the Cmsmart Fullstore plan, billed annually; check current pricing on the Cmsmart pricing page before committing a plan to a client or your own store.

Can I change the logo, colours and layout without touching code?

Yes. The header and footer are template parts you edit visually in the WordPress Site Editor (Appearance > Editor). See Customising a Cmsmart store in the Site Editor for a full walkthrough.

Does the designer work for both "design online" and "upload your own file" orders?

Yes, on the same product. The "Setting Cmsmart" box has an "Enable Upload Design" switch alongside "Enable Design", so a buyer can build in the browser or upload a finished file, depending on what you turn on.

What happens to print location and print method when a buyer checks out?

They travel with the line item. On this install, the cart shows colour, size, print location and print method next to the product, so whoever fulfils the order has what they need without opening the design file.
